The Grill

The Grill has been named Bar of the Year 2008, by Whisky Magazine in its Icons of Whisky awards for its collection of whiskies and its commitment and passion to educate the consumer. Currently on offer is a selection of over 500, some 60 of which are from around the world, including Japan, Ireland and America. The selection includes probably the oldest dram on sale anywhere in the world, a 65-year old Macallan distilled in 1938, several more single malts distilled in the late 1930's, and the legendary Black Bowmore.

 

The Potstill

The Potstill. The very name evokes the warmth of mellow, single malt Scotch whisky. The Highlander Inn is in the centre of the village of Craigellachie, the heart of Scotland's Malt Whisky Trail. With just 5 en-suite bedrooms, bar, "club room", outdoor patio, lounge, a la carte restaurant (tremendous food in both the bar and the restaurant), and private, off-street parking, it truly is a great little place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of Scotland. While our selection of Single Malts may not be the biggest, it is becoming one of the most diverse in terms of age, distillery, nose and taste.
