Luxury Beverage Company launches very expensive Whisky
UK-based Luxury Beverage Company has introduced what it claims to be the most expensive drink in the world-whisky encased in 8,500 diamonds.
The company said, the Isabella's Islay whisky worth £3.8m ($6.2m) is available in two editions and the price is due to its 8,500 diamonds, 300 rubies and the equivalent of two bars of white gold covering a fine English Crystal decanter.
Inside the container a Very Old Single Malt cask strength Islay whisky can be found.
The common-or-garden version - called the Isabella Special Edition - retails for £450,000 ($740,000), and boasts crystal, white gold and diamond lettering.
According to the company, each individual Isabella Islay is handcrafted to the buyer's liking and the whisky inside both the editions is also available in refills.
Earlier the company had introduced the world's most expensive non-alcoholic and Halal beverage - the Ruwa Original, which costs £3.4m ($5.5m), and also boasts over 8000 diamonds.
