Some interesting facts on Imperial:

Situated on the river at Carron near Aberlour, across the water from Dailuaine distillery.

Built unusually from Aberdeen brick in 1897, Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee year, hence the name, and completed with a large shiny metal crown on the chimney top to mark the occasion.

Bought from DCL by Allied Distillers and mothballed in 1998. It's unusually large stills produced a powerful old fashioned Highland malt style whisky. Contributes to the Black Prince blend as well as Ballantine's blend and Teacher's blend.
