Berry Brothers & Rudd Ltd

The business was established in 1698 in London as a grocers shop, the same shop premisis is occupied by the company to this date. The early 19^th century saw the company listing wines and spirits and by the end of that century the grocery side of the business was slowly phased out. In 1923 an important part of Berry Brothers history was made, the creation of the Cutty Sark blended whisky which brought them to the attention of the whisky world. In the early 20^th century Hugh Rudd joined the company as a partner and the name was changed to Berry Brothers & Rudd. Berry Brothers & Rudd won the exclusive rights to the Glenrothes whisky and designed its vintage range of whiskies. Berry Brothers & Rudd offer a selection of whiskies in their ‘Berry's Own Selection' range.
