Edradour is one of the most visited distilleries in Scotland. It attracts 100,000 visitors a year making it second only to Glenturret. It is also one of Scotland's smallest distilleries; the other is Kilchoman, with an annual output of only 90,000 litres of alcohol per year and production totally dedicated to single malts. It was purchased by Independent bottler Signatory in 2002 who completely revamped the product range and released countless expressions some of which are the 10 year old, the Straight From the Cask range and an experimental peated malt, at 50ppm called Ballechin.
