Glen Garioch distillery was built in 1794 and is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. It is found in the town of Old Meldrum in an area known as the "Granary of Aberdeenshire". Glen Garioch is a traditional farm distillery where past owners would raise cattle, using draff and pot ale for cattle feed, along with distilling. There was also a greenhouse producing vegetables and flowers for the local market, heated by waste heat and carbon dioxide from the distilling and fermentation process. The core range consists of a 10, 12, 15 and 21 year old
