Mannochmore is one of the more recent distilleries and was built on the same site as Glenlossie. Its main purpose was to contribute Haig's blends. The same staff man both distilleries, so when one is temporarily closed the other is up and running. Both distilleries share the cask warehouse and the huge dark grains plant which processes draff and pot ale from 21 different distilleries. Only two official bottlings have been released, the 12 year old in the Flora & Fauna range and the Rare Malts 1974. Independent bottlings are not very common.
