Scottish Mining Mayfest

Join Midlothian's unique Mayfest community celebrations with a red carpet whisky ball on May 1st. Nosing and sampling with expert advice will blend with the finest Scottish cuisine, Burns recitals and a traditional ceilidh to make a memorable evening. Throughout the rest of the festival visit the Scottish Mining Museum, Europe's finest Victorian colliery and enjoy songs, poems, dances and special tours.
