ISLAND REGION

Due to their location these whiskies often have a coastal feel, often salty, with seaweed characteristics and a soft, sweeter peat aroma.

The Island region describes all of whisky producing isles apart from Islay, namely Mull, Skye, Orkney, Arran and Jura.
