Balvenie Whisky Tasting Evening

The Balvenie Whisky tasting evening will take place on the 8th of April 2011 starting at 6.30pm.

The event will be hosted by David Mair, Balvenie Ambassador and held at the beautiful Castle Hotel in Huntly Aberdeenshire.

The guests are going to be given the following experience

Introduction of The Balvenie Distillery.

Nosing & Tasting:

-Balvenie Signature

A deconstruction & reconstruction - description of expression make up, nosing & tasting Signature and its 3 component

Parts:

First Fill Bourbon Barrel, First Fill Sherry Butt & Refill Bourbon barrel.

Each person will receive an empty glass to 'create' their very own Signature!

Balvenie Single Barrel 15 year old and the Balvenie Peated Cask 17 year old will both also be tasting.

This really is a fantastic way of being introduced to this wonderful Whisky.
